POLICY.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data is Lau K, operating under the artistic and commercial name PARACOSMIC RECORDS (hereinafter, "PARACOSMIC", "we", "us"), based in Spain.

For any question regarding this Privacy Policy or the exercise of your rights, you may contact us at info@paracosmicsounds.com.

2. Data We Collect

Depending on your interaction with us, we may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification data: artist name, real name (if provided).
  • Contact data: email address.
  • Submission data: genre, private links to your music, and any message you include in your demo submission.
  • Technical data: basic technical information provided by your browser when you visit the site (e.g. IP address, user agent) strictly for security and functionality purposes.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Evaluation of demo submissions — to listen to, evaluate, and respond to the music you send us. Legal basis: your explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), given when you check the consent box in the submission form.
  • Contacting you about your submission — only if we decide to move forward with signing or releasing your track. Legal basis: consent and pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Legal compliance — where required by applicable Spanish or EU law. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

4. Data Retention

Demo submissions and associated personal data are kept for as long as necessary to evaluate them, and up to a maximum of 12 months from receipt, after which they are deleted unless a contractual relationship has been established or a longer retention is required by law.

You may request deletion at any time by contacting info@paracosmicsounds.com.

5. Recipients and Data Transfers

Your data is accessed only by PARACOSMIC and its A&R team. We do not sell your data. We may rely on trusted service providers (e.g. email hosting, website hosting) that act as data processors under a data processing agreement in compliance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Where any provider is located outside the European Economic Area, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Security

Your data is stored securely. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and authenticated storage.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR and the Spanish LOPDGDD (LO 3/2018), you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Request rectification of inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Data portability.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

You may exercise these rights by emailing info@paracosmicsounds.com. If you consider that your rights have not been properly respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos — www.aepd.es).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The updated version will always be available on this page with its revision date.
